New designs! Unique and unusual hearts in cross stitch kits, patterns or charts. Patterns are available for download. Most designs are medium stitching level. They are all in full/whole stitches with no more than 30 to 40 colours.
The cross stitch kits come with an option to choose different fabrics and colours like 14 count aida, 16 count aida and 28 count even weave. So there are options for everyone.
I have designed and stitched a butterfly with only two colours. Black and variegated thread. This is a Madeira variegated thread and I love it! It is stitched on 16 count aida but the kit is available in 14 count, 16 count aida and 28 count evenweave.
I have designed a cute little owl and stitched it in a couple of hours. It is in whole stitches only and has bright colours. I am offering the pattern free to everyone. Feel free to share with friends, family and cross stitch groups in facebook, twitter and pinterest.
I will be posting more freebies in my blog, so don't forget to click on the follow button to get updates every time a freebie is posted.
I have just finished stitching a modern swirly turtle. It is stitched on 16 count aida with whole/full stitches only and it has 8 colours. It isn't a difficult design, it took me a couple of weeks to finish but I only stitched about an hour each evening.
I have used Madeira threads, I love Madeira threads they are very strong and shiny.

I have finished stitching a lovely swirly heart. A few tiny mistakes here and there but one can't tell as the design is supposed to be modern/abstract/swirly :-)
I have used 16 count aida, it is all whole/full stitches and there is only one colour, red. I have enjoyed stitching it.
The design is available for purchase at my shop and you can get the whole kit which includes the chart, fabric of your choice, needle, threads and instructions. Or you can get the pattern by post or email.
I have created a new section in my website for abstract designs. I think people are getting very interested in stitching something different, something unique and modern. Abstract cross stitch is becoming very popular. Why buy an abstract poster when you can stitch it yourself?!
I have just finished a swirly Christmas tree! This is my own design, a very modern and unusual Christmas tree. I stitched it on a 16 count aida as this fabric makes the stitches more dense. It took me 3 evenings to stitch it, which is not too bad if one wants to stitch a Christmas tree fast!
The design is available in my website for a complete kit or a pattern for download or post. If you like it, please share!
I am so excited to show off our new christmas trees in cross stitch kits, patterns or charts. They are modern and abstract designs, I am sure you will love them. They are something different to what you are used to, they will definitely look fantastic in a modern home.
I have finished stitching one of my own designs. A modern sugar skull. It is fairly easy, not very large and with only a few colours. It took me a couple of days to finish it. I love it! It is so colourful and modern, it is now proudly displayed in my office.
The design is available as a cross stitch kit or just the pattern alone. The pattern can be downloaded to save money on postage.
I have just finished stitching a small modern heart, which I designed myself. I stitched it on 16 count aida. I usually stitch on 14 count aida but wanted to try 16 count to see how the stitches are like. They are more dense and can't see the fabric behind the stitches.
I finished it on a few hours, I love the colours. I used Madeira threads.
For anyone who wants to stitch it, I have uploaded the free cross stitch pattern in my site, go here: Free modern pattern
I have designed a modern hummingbird and I am offering it free for anyone to get and stitch. It is a simple design with 8 colours only. It comes in two A4 pages and the pattern is in colour for easy read.
It has been very cold these days. It looks like it is going to snow again. I find this weather perfect for cross stitch. I spent 3 hours stitching yesterday and then adding new cross stitch designs in our website. We also have a new artist, his name is Connie Tom and he paints wonderful bright landscapes. I will make his designs into cross stitch in the next couple of weeks. For now just check out our new products here
We have now added to our collection large cross stitch kits. These are more than 14 inches with many colours and they come with a choice of fabric. You can either select 14 count aida, 16 count aida or 28 count evenweave.
